Mixology, a discipline with deep roots, is the craft of composing drinks through technique, knowledge, and imagination — shaking, stirring, building, and refining until aroma, texture, and finish align.
Think of it as gastronomy in liquid form: the same pursuit of precision, contrast, and emotion that defines Michelin-level cooking. Just as Michelin-starred chefs elevate simple ingredients into a composed dish — sometimes with a touch of molecular technique — mixologists do the same behind the bar, turning spirits, aromatics, and texture into a crafted experience with endless possibilities.
In a single session, you move fast: from crisp citrus structures to silky stirred profiles; from bright botanicals to deeper, more contemplative notes. Sometimes it’s quietly precise. Sometimes it’s theatrical—mist, smoke, or a surprising garnish that shifts the entire experience — guided, intentional, and always spectacular.
Cocktail Lab
Cocktail Lab was born in 2019 to make the world of mixology accessible, memorable, and beautifully hosted — while honoring the depth, precision, and craftsmanship that make it a true art.
Based in Geneva and available across Switzerland, behind Cocktail Lab is an international team with decades of hospitality experience, formal Swiss hospitality training, and the reality of owning and running several bar venues in Geneva.
The team first introduced to Geneva the concept of custom-made cocktails: drinks built around the guest, the moment, and the palate — not around a fixed recipe. Cocktail Lab was created as a natural extension of that savoir-faire: a standalone concept dedicated to mixology as craft, and to the kind of shared experience that stays with you long after the last sip.
Over the years, the team also observed a market gap: genuine group experiences that combine real savoir-faire with actual enjoyment are surprisingly rare in Switzerland. Too often, corporate and private events are formal and forgettable...
